Following the WineRev Model, this series will provide a daily diary for posting IMAGES and VIDEOS and research findings.
"Death in the Gulf" is the real subtitle. BP and Halliburton have committed a massive ecocide.
Today's big lies from MSM and the propaganda outlets astonish. NOAA repeats its shoreline threat map, but still leaves out tropical storms:
Then CNN online:
If... tests in a 5-by-5-mile area north of the underwater gusher are successful, the massive ship could play a key role in oil cleanup efforts
The boat, which swallows water with oil then separates it, can skim about 21 million gallons of oil a day. That's at least 250 times the amount that modified fishing vessels currently conducting skimming operations have been able to contain...
The ship processes a max of 21,000,000 gallons of water. Not oil. Water.
We learned earlier that 20% of the oil spew surfaces immediately and gets blown north. 80% goes south into the Loop Current.
IMAGES and VIDEOS and research are welcome.
Thanks for the Rescue, folks.

Enough with protecting BP from outrage.
Enough with pretending that booms and mops are doing a "cleanup" and "restoration" while tens of thousands of barrels of oil are going into the Gulf of Mexico every day.
You're not doing "cleanup" when you are falling further behind by the hour.
The 80% of the ejecta that stay in deep water at the site will eventually resurface. Oil is less dense than water:
Crude oil, California ----- 0.918
Crude oil, Mexican -------- 0.976
Crude oil, Texas ---------- 0.876
The specific gravity of distilled water is 1.000. Seawater goes a little heavier.
Return to the surface will happen after a long trip in the Loop Current of the Gulf of Mexico, moving slowly at between 0.2 and 0.5 km/hr. The oil will have congealed to messy globs.
It will be just a poisonous as when it spewed out of the seabed at the Deepwater Horizon site.
What is happening today to Louisiana is highly probably for this fall with strikes to the Everglades and Cuba and Florida's West Coast.
Tropical storms with the normal circular patter will concentrate oil and drive it ashore on their front-side waves. There is nothing to be done to stop it. Booms are useless in 3-foot waves. A 10-foot hurricane storm surge has a mechanical power beyond anything that humans can even imagine.
Ecocide has been committed. Now we will witness the death throes of animals, plants, and local human cultures.

Here's what the Oil Biz don't want you to see. That they are killers:
MSM reporting says that cause of death has to be investigated.
The better to lock up the pitchforks.
Waves from Alex...
Made for more slaughter.
Dead.
Dying.
Dead.
And this is only going to get worse. The propagandized "cleanup" meme is a lie. It looks like the BP operations are collecting roughly 2% of the overall spew.
Booms at the shoreline are for show. First time you get 3-foot waves they fail.
Wind concentration:
The experts. Jindal and Dudley. They're going to build 6 "berms" to protect the Louisiana coast.
They both failed 6th Grade math. That bit of nonsense would take 400 miles of "berm" and require 200,000,000 cubic feet of rock to set up a sub-hurricane protection sea wall.
There's rumour that this Dudley character is CGI. Escaped from one of the Harry Potter movie disk drives.
Jindal lecturing Obama. O.K., fine.
And some are born pirates, others are made:
Pirate wants its life back. Boo-hoo.

We can go with ignorant futility. Alabama's National Guard tries to hold back the tides:
Or... maybe......
The big damage to the Gulf Coast is already in the water. Wind driven oil will destroy much of the Louisiana littoral. Scenarios with oil driven ashore by hurricanes will see the coast from Mississippi to Florida damaged for 20 years. Worst case is destruction of the lower Everglades, which would be totally inundated if we see a high tide storm surge from a Cat 3, 4, or 5 hurricane.
*************************
The big damage from Big Business is already in the water. Legal response so far is nonexistent.
The CEOs know to a practical certainty that they are beyond prosecution. Criminal negligence, manslaughter statutes, fraud, falsifying compliance statements, threatening witnesses and otherwise impeding prosecution -- they own contacts that place them beyond the Law.
They know this as fact because in January, 2008, one George Anderson, a Wall Street CEO, got drunk and ran down Florence Cioffi -- all of 5 blocks from the New York Stock Exchange. Anderson killed her. But then the crime got wiped off. Despite a confession and a blood test, this vehicular manslaughter was reduced to misdemeanor silliness in 2009 and Anderson was sentenced to 16 days at Rikers. $500 fine. The price of taking a human life, DUI driving 60 m.p.h. up Water Street in a Mercedes SUV, is a couple weeks and $500.
There was no Federal investigation of the sell-out. Nothing by New York State. Nothing happened to repair the criminal justice system.
So... the CEOs can kill and nothing happens, beyond getting double jeopardy triggered. Why be surprised when this 2010 grand mal ecocide produces a free pass ??? All that happens is the propaganda of denials and the obscene "I want my life back" narcissism. All of these as used by Dante:
-- luxuria (extravagance)
-- gula (gluttony)
-- avaritia (avarice/greed)
-- acedia (acedia/discouragement)
-- ira (wrath)
-- invidia (envy)
-- superbia (pride)
We must change. Our toys and our addictions to convenience have become too dangerous.
