Lieutenant General James Mattis of the US Marines Corps has been picked to take over US Central Command.
This is damn unfortunate, because he has a heart of darkness, and should not even be allowed in the US military, much less head of a large part of it.
He showed his true feelings back in 2005, and it has been caught on you tube - posted below.
The video above is of his hideous comments about how it is "fun to fight 'em. It's a hell of a hoot" and "it's fun to shoot some people" and "You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years, because they didn't wear a veil. You know guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it is a hell of a lot of fun to shoot 'em."
I am often surprised lately at how poorly our military leaders can control their mouths.
But they are revealing their TRUE FEELINGS and their TRUE MORAL VALUES.
Mattis led the fighting in Fallujah in 2004. Today, Fallujah has skyrocketing cancer rates and birth defect rates. Mattis, and the US military, and the US government, and the vast majority of US citizens, don't give a damn. Not a damn.
Imagine Mattis's logic about it being "okay" to shoot Afghan men because they abuse women - and apply that to our domestic scene. Imagine our local police thinking it was "okay" to shoot men who are engaged in domestic violence. This line of thinking, that lead to Mattis's comments, is pure evil.
Just pure evil.
And yet, somehow, they are going to put him in charge of Central Command. I think this reflects both Obama's and the US public acceptance of wars of aggression, as violence as a means to achieve any goal. It shows they don't give a damn what the rest of the world thinks of us. And it shows an evil (and vast) heart of darkness.
It sickens me.
And it further sickens me that the majority of people in the countries under his upcoming command know about this - while Americans stay ignorant (as usual).
Around the time Mattis said these idiotic and evil words, I had a hair cutter who told me that she thought it was okay to kill off Afghan men because they are abusive to women. She liked to proclaim she is a "christian". She has less of the teachings of Jesus Christ in her than a typical pile of dog shit - much like the majority of Americans.
UPDATE: HERE IS AN IRAQI TAKE ON THIS MAN AND HIS COMMENTS.
Anyone who thinks this is an 'okay' thing to say should take a read:
The Iraki experience of America, Americans, American "values", American generals, and the troops commanded by those generals is that Americans react with unthinking hysterical indiscriminate violence whenever they meet opposition. And that it does not matter whether that opposition is armed or not. It does not matter who is injured or killed men, women, children, we are all sand n*g*e*s and killing sand n*g*e*s is a good thing. "The only thing these sand n*g*e*s understand is force and I’m about to introduce them to it".
"You have to understand the Arab mind," one company commander told the New York Times, displaying all the self-assurance of Douglas MacArthur discoursing on Orientals in 1945. "The only thing they understand is force — force, pride and saving face." Far from representing the views of a few underlings, such notions penetrated into the upper echelons of the American command. In their book "Cobra II," Michael R. Gordon and Gen. Bernard E. Trainor offer this ugly comment from a senior officer: "The only thing these sand niggers understand is force and I’m about to introduce them to it."
Some might like to argue that all of that was under the Bush administration but that things are different and better under President Obama. Really? "Away goes the white dog and now comes the black dog".
"Actually it’s a lot of fun to fight. You know it’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right up with you. I like brawling."

Mattis may also come under scrutiny during his Senate confirmation for the way he handled charges against eight Marines for the November 2005 killing of 24 Iraqi civilians in the Iraqi city of Haditha, especially since one of the key strategies of current U.S. policy in Afghanistan is to reduce civilian casualties.
The Marines at Haditha killed the Iraqis in their homes, including women and children, in what survivors described as an indiscriminate shooting spree after a fellow Marine was killed by a roadside bomb. A military investigation found that none of the dead were insurgents or had threatened the troops.
As head of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton, Calif. , however, Mattis dismissed many of the charges. One Marine, Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich , is still to be tried, with that proceeding set to begin Sept. 13 .
In writing his reasons for dropping unpremeditated murder charges against one of the Marines, Lance Cpl. Justin I. Sharratt ,
Mattis said that brutality, including the death of innocents, is a part of war
.
GOT THAT FOLKS? THOSE OF YOU DEFENDING MATTIS:
HE THINKS THAT BRUTALITY AND THE DEATH OF INNOCENTS IS JUST A PART OF WAR.
AND NOW HE IS GOING TO BE IN CHARGE OF US CENTRAL COMMAND.
IS THAT WHERE YOU WANT OUR MILITARY TO GO? IS THAT WHY YOU WANT US TROOPS IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN? DO YOU WANT TO KILL INNOCENTS???? DO YOU WANT THE US KNOWN AROUND THE WORLD FOR BRUTALITY AND THE SLAUGHTER OF INNOCENTS???? IS THAT WHAT YOUR REALLY WANT?
IF YES, YOU SICKEN ME.
