From HP:
"I think we're going to retake the House, as Mr. Gibbs suggested yesterday," Cantor said on CNBC's Squawk Box. "That's going to change the dynamic for sure."
"When we regain the House -- because I do think that we'll retake the majority -- the president will have to deal with us," Cantor said, speaking more optimistically about the GOP's political fortunes than his colleagues have in the past.
It's besides the point that little Eric Cantor can barely tie his own shoes, but I have a few words for him nonetheless.
Anyway, Eric, the White House has "dealt" with you on every major issue that crossed the table over the last two years. YOU, and your asshole party, decided not to deal with him.
Your solutions were always the same tired, old, proven-to-be-failed ones where your parties most enthusiastic followers (lobbyists, big business, criminals) championed. They were solutions that sucked the life out of hard-working people and the middle class and put every last effing cent in the pockets of the people who least need it.
You've got people like John Kyl who's way of "dealing" with the President is by blocking unemployment insurance while championing increased tax cuts for the rich.
By the way, as Rachel Maddow says, they are both deficit increasers. If you support one, you need to support the other, or visa versa. But, then again, lying is your friend, isn't it. Why apply logic to political expediency.
I also have a few words for the voters, those who might happen upon this article in your searches. Those who are "fed up" with Obama or the Democrats, even though you've barely watched anything on the TV other than The Hills and Fox News.
If you give the Republicans the majority, your future as you know it is over. Any chance of digging ourselves out of this recession will be thwarted. There will be marginal attempts - attempts just big enough so the republicans can tell you they're doing something (even as they throw more money at their biggest supporters), while this country recovers at the pace of Japan.
Read about that, if you can pull yourself away from the TV. Their recession has been going on for 12 years.
Remember, these are the SAME PEOPLE who destroyed your 401k's, depleted your retirement funds, made you stress out about whether you can keep a roof over your head if you lose your job and no other one's are on the horizon. The SAME PEOPLE who lied you into a war, let the Credit card companies define how bankruptsies would effect you and pissed all over the idea of regulation, thus allowing Wall Street to create products that made them wealthier at your expense.
These are THOSE SAME PEOPLE.
I hope you listen. In the past, you've ignored history and gone with your "gut." Well, as evidence of our last President, the gut isn't the best way to make good decisions.
Don't put these people in power again. This country cannot survive right now with that. Stop being lemmings.
