Most of us have seen horror stories on various sites about what some police do to law abiding citizens who have the audacity to videotape them while they run rampant over our laws. Congressman Ed Downs, Dem from NY, introduced a resolution on Thursday to protect citizens who video-record police.
A story is here: http://carlosmiller.com/...
Common sense suggests it's a real stretch to invoke wiretapping laws against anyone video-recording police in public but if you read the story,

it might not be too difficult if you or your friends golf and picnic with the DAs and the judges.
We can expect republicans to fight tooth and nail for the police right to railroad anyone with the temerity to capture and replay videos of criminal activity when it's done by police.
Upstart citizens expecting their police to follow the laws? Next thing you know they will make it illegal for police to tazer persons who are lying on the ground or in wheelchairs... or codify age discrimination by prohibiting the tazing of anyone over 90 years old. I guess there's just no end to what the gay Nazi socialist African conspiracist one world government wants to foist on our wonderful boys in blue.
Well, gotta uhm, spend some time with my wife and pray to God, etc.
Love and hugs,
Shark
