So, on the day that President Obama signs the financial reform into law, instead of a well-intoned newsperson informing Americans of the significance of this legislation and the stability it will bring for the future so we prevent another financial armageddon, we were instead bombarded by the ballistic maliciousness of the GOP propaganda arm FOX and their vicious Bozo brigades when they set an innocent woman’s reputation on fire as bait to capture the Obama administration.

"The failings of capitalism..."
The Tea Partiers' primal scream arises from that fact.
Murdoch antagonizes their blind anguish with a bombardment of FOX incendiaries... gnawing at their weak spots to increase their fear and the need to blame.
So they wear their "white tea bags" as talismans to ward off the inevitable... 2 billion Chinamen and 2 billion India-men... all Uncle Sam's horses and all Uncle Sam's men, can't put the US back together again.
Auction blocks give and auction blocks take away. Across the oceans Death sails with capitalist fervor. Doom comes in on little cat feet... and the band plays on.
Is it getting hot in here?

So sing us a song Piano man... we’re all in the mood for a melody.
Here’s signing off with a look at the Senate race in Kentucky.
From the Barefoot and Progressive blog:
Jake points out that the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) is absolutely frothing about Jack Conway today. This morning alone, they've sent out 4 press releases about him. Four. All of a sudden, in one morning.
What brought this on? I'd venture to guess that the NRSC got their eyes on some scary poll numbers. Especially since this is after a week in which eastern Kentucky learned that Rand Paul doesn't want federal money or help for their drug problem, and western Kentucky learned that he doesn't want federal money or help for their farmers.
Spooked, I tell ya.
Good night, and good luck.

pelagicray makes an important point very well: the Sherrod incident highlights a White House staffing issue that needs to be addressed. From NedSparks' diary.
From AllanTBG:
This comment made by Lost Left Coaster to a diary Are You Kidding Me? Stop Blaming Obama and Blame Fox News and Breitbart! by Ned Sparks is my nominee for comment of the day. It's well articulated and says much.
From bronte17 (tonight’s diarist):
In Keith Olbermann's absolutely delicious diary Special Comment: Ms Sherrod is NOT Dreyfus, BlackGriffen asks a simple question and provides the witty response.
