If you ever want to know how to smack down the likes of Bill O'Reilly and the other propagandists who peddle their slime on the fraud of a "news" channel called Fox, you should have seen Rachel Maddow's retort to a O'Reilly segment last night.
Rachel has been spot on in her indictments of Fox in their promotion of the selectively-edited racist handiwork of Andrew Breitbart and his coharts, and this clip chastizes O'Reilly had me laughing all the way.
More below.
In case you haven't seen it, here's the clip:
Rachel has been exemplary in her coverage of the racism that infests Fox and the yellow journalism that Andrew Breitbart practices and is actively promoted on Fox, and I really like that final line of this clip in which she completely debunks O'Reilly's ratings-make-us-right retort (for lack of a better way of describing what O'Reilly said).
To hear O'Reilly, truth be damned, if it yields big ratings, great. Rachel was correct in stating that there's one big thing that's far more important than ratings.
It's integrity, something Rachel has and the slimeballs at Fox like O'Reilly don't.
