Republican candidates just can't get enough Maddow. I know, me either, but Republicans? Why Republican candidates?

Is she really that likable? Yes.

But apparently that is not what is making her a hot commodity these days. Rather it is the prospect of making money off her scarrrryy big spending Liberal name.

First there was Scott Brown, who for no reason whatsoever claimed Maddow was going to run against him and tried to fund-raise off of her. After a couple of week, Maddow got serious:

Which caused Mr. Brown to run for cover.

Well now there is a new republican looking to make some money off of Maddow.
And this is how it all started:

Weird, right?
The music---creepy
Video---apparently Mr. Rubio still uses Windows 97.
Reason for ad---Really, I have no clue. There is no point to the ad. It is just cheap ad-hom attacks with no facts or figures behind it.

So what does Maddow do? Well she returns the favor, but drops the "Republican Good/Liberal Bad" childish BS and goes at Rubio with facts and figures.

You would think it would stop there, right?

Riiiite.

Well Rubio isn't one to be told that he will add 3.5 trillion to the Federal Deficit!!! And he fights back.

With another weird ad that addresses nothing except for the fact Maddow is a Liberal:

Well Maddow gives the final (I think) K.O. blow to Rubio---which he just won't be able to respond to:

And if Rubio plans on dragging this out, well, I would tell him to have a little chat with Mr. Scott Brown.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
