Advice on handling: They say to throw it out, however, I would ABSOLUTELY keep the bag and some of the food in it. Put it in a plastic bag away from humans/dogs and contact the company to find out how to receive a refund. IF you have a cat on this food, my advice would be to NOT throw out the bag until you have established health in your cat. Should your cat become ill, you may need the bag/food in the event you need to file a claim to prove your case.
As always, please do NOT touch this food again! People handling the food CAN get salmonella from the food.
