Many of you have followed the story of Lance Enderle, write-in candidate for the Dem primary here in MI-08.
Any write-in is a long shot.
It gets even tougher when the clock is ticking and the write-in candidate has pledged not to accept PAC or special interest $$.
It gets downright weird when the previous candidate's name is still on the ballot even though he quit the race seven weeks earlier...
Unfortunately, Enderle didn't receive the number of write-ins needed to get on the November ballot. Time wasn't on his side, and neither was the mainstream media, most of which ignored his campaign.
The previous candidate received 26,000 votes, though -- simply because he was the only Dem listed for that race on the ballot, and a lot of people had no idea he'd dropped out. Much like the rooster who thought his crowing made the sun rise, the previous candidate is now saying he's "80% certain" that he will get back in the race.
Stop the weirdness.
Ignore the previous candidate's hokey-pokey act.
Let's make some noise and get Lance Enderle on the November ballot -- MI-08 desperately needs an alternative to Mike Rogers.
