Oshkosh, WI idiot, Ron Johnson, may not be well versed in the science of climate change, but he is getting well versed in creating internet memes.
"I'm glad there is global warming ... It’s far more likely that it’s just sunspot activity or just something in the geologic eons of time," says Ron Johnson, Wisconsin Republican U.S. Senate Candidate.
This is a wonderful meme taking off. People all over the world have now found a scapegoat for all of their issues.
In Oshkosh, WI, where I live and which is also the hometown of Ron Johnson, support for the Republican/Tea Party candidate runs deep. But, even here, folks are questioning what RJ's stances are on the REAL issues. Well, we haven't gotten much from RJ on the real issues, but at least we now know where he stands on climate change.
Though, to be fair we also got this gem from Johnson on the issue of judicial nominees: "If I would see a justice who I really thought was awful, in terms of judicial you know, what rulings they had in the past, I would certainly be willing to filibuster." In theJSOnline article it goes on say that "he would have voted against both of President Obama's Supreme Court appointees, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan." Apparently Johnson was not paying too much attention to realize that Elena Kagan has no "judicial you know" rulings in the past.
Step up Wisconsinites and those who support Russ Feingold. Wisconsin, and the country, cannot afford to have absolute morons like Johnson in the Sentate -- especially when the trade off would be losing an honest, intelligent, and independent progressive Senator such as Russ. If you have a spare 10 or 20 bucks (or more, or less). . . send it to Russ!
