Justin is running against the Orange Man himself and the aspiring Speaker of the House - John Boehner. Earlier this week Boehner launched his Speaker of the House campaign asking that Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and economic advisor Larry Summers be fired. Hell No we Don't Want Boehner as Speaker
The DCCC has not yet funded Justin as this race is not on their radar of "winnable races". We disagree with that assessment and believe that we should closely pay attention to this race.
However, Justin told us yesterday
The Coussoule Campaign has won the endorsement of 83 Members of Congress with the Progressive Caucus Endorsement! This is an incredible way to start the day!
Tomorrow night we are hosting another Q and A with Justin Coussoule. Join us over at Progress for a More Perfect Union's facebook page for the live session.
Plesae RSVP on our facebook event page if you plan on attending.
We prescribe to the 50 State Strategy and putting the full court press on the GOP so called "leadership". That's why it's important to get to know the great candidates we have running.
If you can make a donation to Justin, it would be appreciated and will go along way towards backing Boehner into a corner.
We don't have to wait for the D.C. insiders to tell us which races are viable. We should look to Richard Morrison who challenged Tom DeLay in 2004 as inspiration. DeLay was essentially forced to resign and a Democrat held this seat for two years.
In my opinion there is no better strategy than to try and hold Boehner to as slim a margin as possible. He's done nothing for the folks in his district and we never know what might surprise us if we put this race in play.
Join us tomorrow night and learn about Justin's plans for jobs and economic viability. Boehner has none. Heck he doesn't even know which of his brothers are on unemployment. A real stand up guy I tell you.
