This is a very controversial question. Even the title itself is controversial. The secular Feminists would rather to not even speak or hint at such thinking. Just mentioning it allows the piles of ad hominems to be thrown in all directions (otherwise known as a temper tantrum).
Even in Conservative circles it's very controversial. That's because you liberals have crept into conservative thinking (on some levels) successfully.
Since we've gone over Christian epistemology, we now know where to get our knowledge, so the issue should be discussed via the standard of God.
Please, let's be civil and TOLERANT. It's the right thing to do.
The question is simple, should a woman be in authority over a man or a couple million men, the answer is absolutely not. Now, before you throw all kinds of names towards me (which happens when you don't have an argument) let me at least explain.
Since we have a absolute infinite reference point and infinite and good standard, then this should be our criteria for thinking. It should be understood that I will be using some technical language for accuracy so don't take me out of context.
In God's Word, we see a difference in Man and Woman via their equality and similarity. And an inequality in another way.
ECONOMICAL SENSE: Inequality: A man is higher is "rank" then a woman. We see this in marriage and as a whole in society. Now this does not mean that a woman can't do the job, they simply should not via the way God created man and woman. Man was designed as head over the woman.
ONTOLOGICAL SENSE: Equality: In this way, a man and a woman are exactly equal via their nature. They are both 100% impartial via God's perspective.
So we see here two different aspects to men and women.
So then we come to the question, should a women be in politics. I'm struggling with this issue but I believe via the Bible this is very unwise. And yes, this would include Sara Palin.
For one thing it would make our country look weak among the other nations. America is strong and should stay strong via a man as president along with other political offices.
So I'm not sure if this is ethically wrong. It is simply UNWISE.
On top of that, women are usually more emotional. This is not a bad thing, this is how God made them for marriage.
It saddens me to see how many women are trying to take of their feminine side. They are trying to fight God and his way of creating. This is sin in the highest degree and those people obviously hate God.
I'm thankful that we haven't had a women as President yet, but this will not be for long. Due to the sin of the world death shall only get darker until the last days until Christ comes back to get His own.
Respectfully,
Jean Chauvin (Jude 3).
