Well, lookie here. Today, John Boehner basically conceded that the Republicans are on the losing side of the tax argument debate, and will likely vote to extend the middle class tax cuts without including the tax cuts for the rich he previously demanded be included.
Boehner says he'd support a middle-class tax cut
House Minority Leader John Boehner says he would vote for President Obama's plan to extend tax cuts only for middle-class earners, not the wealthy, if that were the only option available to House Republicans.
Boehner, R-Ohio, said it is "bad policy" to exclude the highest-earning Americans from tax relief during the recession, and later Sunday he accused the White House of "class warfare." But he said he wouldn't block the breaks for middle-income individuals and families if Democrats won't support the full package.
Want some cheese with that whine Representative Boehner?
Bottom line here is fairly simple I think. When President Obama fights back, as opposed to compromising, hedging, or giving in, we WIN. We win because what we want is what most people want, and what they want is what most rich people want.
Cheers Mr. President! A little more of this and we might actually have a chance this November!!
