Ladies and Gentlemen, the Orgeon Duck is everywhere.
Ever since Disney and the University of Oregon came to an agreement earlier this year to allow the Duck its “freedom”—the Duck was subject to a Disney trademark under an agreement with UO over its trademark for the schools use of Donald in some of their logos—he’s showing up in more and more features and ads. FloTV, promos for ESPN (SportsCenter and College Game Day); is a CapitalOne ad not too far behind?
He even got a feature on SportsCenter the other day!
I guess the Duck has completely recovered from this unfortunate incident, then.
Wow. I totally didn’t see that fight when it happened. Ironically, it comes at the expense of Shasta, the Houston Cougar—boy, not a good week for U of H quarterbacks, huh? First, they lost Case Keenum and backup Cotton Turner to injuries (Thankfully—or luckily—they have five other quarterbacks on the roster), then Kevin Kolb, now with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles and coming back from a concussion that benched him for Week 2, was given back his starting job, only to have it yanked back less than 24 hours later, in favor of Michael Vick.
So, I suppose, metaphorically, the Duck is still beating down the Cougar? Or does the LeGarrette Blount/Jeremiah Masoli factor cancel it all out?
Craig Ferguson is having a show dedicated to The Big Bang Theory tonight. So, if you watch that sitcom, you might like tonight's LLS. If not? Watch anyway. Craig can make this funny, damn it!
