Per a tweet from The Advocate:
"BREAKING: Justice Dept. objects to an injunction against DADT, calling it "untenable"; decision should be limited to plaintiffs in suit."
Update: The Advocate now has a story up.
Here is Log Cabin Republicans' proposed language for an injunction.
They have asked for a global injunction barring enforcement of DADT, and also a bar to any anti-gay discrimination in the military. The President's DOJ, as expected, is objecting, trying to limit the scope of the ruling just to the two plaintiffs represented by LCR. If the Judge goes ahead and bars all enforcement of DADT, I expect the injunction to be very quickly appealed to the 9th Circuit, and to SCOTUS (hey, this might be one of Kagan's first big decision, how ironic!).
