Iwrote earlier this week about the importance of College Democrats at Ohio State. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal confirmed what we on campus already know: that the fate of a progressive champion is truly in our hands. Mary Jo Kilroy has cast as many courageous votes as a freshman, whether it be for health care reform, wall street reform, or the Recovery Act.
The key to her re-election is simple: register students and get them to vote. In 2006, she lost by just 1,055 votes. In 2008, she won her seat by 2,313 votes. With a campus of 50,000 students, we can make the difference. We WILL make the difference.
