This is going to be a short diary.
Simply put, you need to watch this! Seems I'm late to the party, sorry folks. Well, I'm adding value in this diary with a short discussion on copyright term issues. Enjoy!
I'm seriously impressed with the quality of this parody, and I love the story arc too.
Enjoy!
And remember, when Disney craps all over this, they built their empire on the works of the Brothers Grimm, who enjoyed a modest copyright term, where it was long enough to profit from, but not so long that we were denied the new Disney re-mix culture to follow.
Now that it's Disneys turn to contribute to that same remix culture, they continue to buy copyright extensions. FREE THE MOUSE!
We are missing out on a lot of culture because of that. Current terms are so long that nothing we see or hear in our adult lives will actually enter the public domain to be mixed, ripped, and burned for our mutual benefit, and most importantly, to compete with the established players, all buying law to insure they are never challenged.
