I have no issue if the Dems keep the House that Nancy gets re-elected as the Speaker, that lady is fiesty and for the most part, earnestly involved in getting quality legislation out the door. In a way, is there a worry that if the Dems retain both chambers that the "corpratists" would attempt to stage a coup and oust her? Could they/would the Blue Dogs attempt to do via procedure what they couldn't do at the polls?
The Senate on the other hand....
Is it time to replace Harry Reid (provided he's re-elected) with someone more willing to kick ass versus getting lost in the minutae of the senate rules?
If so, with whom?
Do we have a choice, is the WH finally on board with getting people in lockstep with what is good for the country and directing the Senate to get its act together?
My apologies for looking ahead, but I feel good/better about the mid-terms, it appears that folks are getting engaged and involved again and so the "carnage of the red tide" may not be as high as it was once thought (not that I want any of us getting complacent, mind you). If that is indeed the case, is it time to change horses while fording the river and if so, onto whom.....
