Arizona Governor has a major malfunction during her debate with Democratic opponent Terry Goddard.
Much has been made of Brewer's 10/3/2010 debate debacle and she has refused to debate again.
During a televised debate with her democrat opponent, Gov. Jan Brewer looked stunned and she had a sustained brain freeze.
Governor Brewer has become the symbol of the anti-immigration movement starting with her passing of Bill 1070 which allows Arizona police to stop those considered to be illegal immigrants.
While she professes that we are not safe in our homes because of "illegals", the Arizona Republic published a report indicating that for the last 10 years crime on the Arizona border has been flat lining not on the increase. Arizona’s border crime rate is no higher than Texas, or California’s rate of crime.

She also had to back off the "claim" that be-headings were rampant in the Arizona desert,
However, a recent dip in the polls has her campaign reconsidering this her decision to not debate again.

A Rocky Mountain Poll released Monday indicated that Jan Brewer's lead over Terry Goddard has narrowed to 3 points among registered voters, though her lead among likely voters is still 11 points.

Brewer was an "accidental" governor when Janet Napolitano left the office to join the Obama administration. She was at the time the Secretary of State, who is next in line for succession to the Governorship.
It is the hope of many that if she does debate again, she will have another meltdown similar to the one she had in the first encounter.
