Its true that thuggery is all the rage on the right these days.  Remember the lady at a rally wearing a Crown who got elbowed and abused in California?  And now we have the journalist illegally detained in Alaska for daring to speak to a republican.  And the lady ganged up on in Kentucky for daring to speak to a republican.  And the guy brutally arrested in Virginia for daring to consider speaking to a republican.

New information has emerged about the brutality in Louisa, Virginia on Monday.

First, the man arrested, Jon Taylor, is deaf in one ear.

Second, his son, who recorded his father's arrest with a phone, and was also arrested, is a minor.

What can we do about it?

We can fight back.

Ranking right wing thug Eric Cantor had people thrown out of other events on the same day that this man was brutally arrested.

There were also about a dozen protesters standing outside the hall. Most displayed placards with slogans like "CAN CANTOR" and "Cantor says NO to education." Some said they either tried to enter the private hall and weren’t allowed inside or were ejected after entering.

This is a pattern with Eric Cantor.  He won't debate his opponents.  He won't shake hands with voters.  He won't appear in an open forum of any kind.  He appears only behind closed doors, at meetings that are purified of all dissent.  If elected, he promises to seek impeachment of the President and to obstruct, obstruct, obstruct and obstruct some more.

If you want to stop his violence against his constituents, and to send a message that his style of thuggery will not be tolerated, donate $20.10 to Rick Waugh.

Rick is running against one of the worst, most partisan people in the country.  He has run a campaign that has been called a blue print for what the Dems should have been doing all year, but didn't.  A true progressive, he makes his living as a social worker.

Help this social worker to overcome the worst obstacle in the republicans ever placed in the house.  Cantor is not just a thug, though, he is also a heartless thug.

To punish Cantor for his inhuman stance on health care, Rick Waugh has begun running one of the best ads of the cycle.

You can help keep this beautiful ad on the air.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
