CNN Headline: "CNN Poll: Those who say things going poorly higher than 1994 or 2006" may in fact be true, however, the polling and the inferences made are questionable.
The article http://www.cnn.com/... clearly picks out certain years that were polled (1994 to 2006), and there is no polling data shown since 2006. I suppose they were looking for off-year elections. I assumed the same questions were asked 2007-2010 but there is no data to support that. Unless you read the article closely one may be mislead that this is the worst showing in recent history, but, again that assumption may be misleading.
One fact that is shown is that the 18-34 year old category is N/A. In my mine, that makes the whole poll questionable. If a poll is to be compared to other like-minded polls, then there has to be some like coomparisons to those who are polled. I highly doubt that the other polls from 1994-2006 had no data for the 18-34 year old group. From http://i2.cdn.turner.com/...

In addition, CNN Polling Director Keating Holland makes the conclusion: "Only 25 percent say that things are going well in the country today, and voters appear poised to take it out on the Democrats on Tuesday". Based on the poll with NO data listed for the 18-34 year old population- who vastly voted for President Obama, it is my humble opinion that THIS POLL IS BOGUS and anything derived from it is made-up BS.
