Look at where we've lost tonight in massive droves...
Ohio
Illinois
Pennsylvania
Michigan
New York
Indiana
We've lost places where Unions used to provide the balance needed to win the day....
I think looking back on the last 20 years, the Democratic Party has decimated it's ranks by becoming more 'Pro-Business' which really means, anti-democratic in labor practices. No longer does the Democratic Party take the instinctual pro-labor position, now we cowtow to large conglomerates for morsels of cash. Our representatives talk about 'free trade' and 'tax-cuts' and 'business exemptions' and 'regulatory holidays'. We need to be talking about 'fixing the labor gap' 'empowering workers' and 'ending the manipulation of exports' by China. The Democrats need to find a soul, right now they have none. They are a bunch of disparate voices yelling in a room full of people waiting for direction. President Obama has let America down, by not fully fighting for more stimulus, his goal in the next 2 years should be to battle for the soul of the country by fighting for the little guy. Kick out Geithner, appoing strong labor members to boards of commerce and industry. But not just him, all Democrats. I don't know this is kind of rambling sorry, but it just seems to me that it's the economy stupid. And we've let our representatives blow it by not making them more pro-labor.
