this is going to be a a short diary.
The number one reason is because the american people want them extended how do I know that, cause they voted for people who wanted them extended. Don't tell me about polls because that is irrelevant we have something better than polls to go off of. Votes
The number two reason is if he can get a compromise to extend them for two years and make the middle class portion permanent than we will finally be able to end them in two years with out having to vote on them.
The third reason is because it will make him look bipartisan and the majority of americans wants the bickering to stop and, wants the two parties to work together. If they didn't why did they elect a republican congress.
The fourth reason is because even though they aren't stimulative its not a good thing to raise taxes in a recession I haven't totally fallen for this republican talking point but does have a hint of truth to it not much just a pinch
