First RoJo totally screwed up his victory speech by channelling Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber and saying that "when you're in a deep hole, the first thing you do is start digging":
Then, the day after the election, he went on Fox News and made the ill-advised move of attacking Al Franken... on his qualifications for being in the U.S. Senate:
Then his campaign told the Wisconsin State Journal that he would "not be available for the next several weeks for media interviews." What?!? Dude, you just got elected to the U.S. Senate and Journal is the second largest newspaper in the state!
Then he goes on Upfront with Mike Gousha (a Milwaukee Sunday morning show) and goes from Mr. Moderate to Mr. Hard Right in the blink of an eye. For the first time in the campaign, he's focusing on tort reform, tax cuts for the wealthy, and cap and trade. Then, for literally the first time EVER, he throws out that a top priority is going to be blocking card checks.
But, the best, is that he becomes the first U.S. Senator in American history to use "pfffft":
