Allow me, if you will, to consider certain prospects otherwise thought to be unthinkable in a modern, civilized society. A front page story brings to light, for those of us who also do not watch most of MSNBC's day time programing at least, the revelation that Dylan Ratigan has a similar desire for violent revolution in the vein of our forefathers much in the same way Glenn Beck does, albeit for slightly (and only slightly) different reasons.
Absurd in a society such as today, where reason and common sense should take the center stage.
...Or is it?
Consider the prospects with me of the positive effects of a revolution staged once more within these United States.
With a bloody and violent revolution, we could easily end the wars our country faces. The U.S. Government would be forced to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan to cope with the dwindled numbers faced here on the home front, thus ending what were thought to be near endless wars. Most certainly, the troops would be more than happy to assist as well, as they are tasked with the defense of the American people against any threat foreign and domestic, and a corrupt system government must be the largest domestic threat in existence.
Lives, of course, will be lost. However, their sacrifice is for the good of the whole. The great first President, General Washington, understood such sacrifices, and slept well knowing that his men did not die in vain. Families may be split and divided, and brother may fight against brother, but it is all for the single purpose of saving our great nation. A new drive to repopulate will commence and we'll be able to form fresh, opposite sex unions to ensure there's a new generation to give such a great future in the new America.
Plus, think of the commerce that will be driven with the construction of new American Revolution memorial battleground sites and the new jobs that will come about rebuilding our cities and roads. Additionally, such a revolution and internal war would help to sever us from the global community and help wipe away this national deficit that everyone in Washington speaks about. Instead, it would allow us as a nation to start from scratch just like the founders. No need to worry about the other international effects such a revolution would hold because of the lack of our exports and trade to other countries. The other nations have done fine without our help before, and surely they will do so again.
The only down side would be to finally decide on a proper system of government. Replacing a Democratic Republic isn't going to be an easy task. We certainly won't go towards Monarchy, because that's far too un=American. We could try a dictatorship, but then that'd make us into Cuba. In the end, only a Theocracy could rule best, just as the first pilgrims intended. The constitution for a Theocracy is already in place with the Holy Bible, and all of the laws we would need to follow are set as well. The only thing we would need is someone to stand as an arbiter for the laws between us and the one true Christian God. As an impartial observer, I for one could not bring myself to volunteer. But I'm sure someone with the right ideas will step forward as they did when the Pope was invented.
Things may get tough after the revolution and the start of rebuilding, but so long as we all pull ourselves up by what's left of our bootstraps, we can surely make America even greater than before. So take up arms, brothers and sisters! It's time time to destroy our country in order to save it!
