Well I asked this question in 2010 just as I was buying Google stock. I am refreshing this after seeing the armed rightwing Militia Idiots at a bar in Willcox Az bragging about their plan to intimidate voters in November. Is it time to own a gun especially if a potential target of the right ?
Damn i can't tell you how sad i am that I was so right about this.I wrote the following diary after going to a few forums on the border and seeing how frigging crazy the right has become in my corner of the world...the rest of this is the original.........I live in rural Arizona and constantly run into tea-party types that suggest if things don't go their way they may just "restore the Constitution" via the barrel of a gun.Facing this and other threats from crazy-town, it may be prudent for some to buy a firearm.I have a few suggestions for the first time gun buyer. I've never been a big gun fan but living on a major drug smuggling route in Rural Arizona has forced us to have a few firearms.I have few suggestins of a weapon for people that just might need to say stop a Glen Beck fan from entering the old non-profit or just make them think about it thus avoiding bloodshed. I, Smith&Wesson double action 6-shot 357 Magnum revolver This gun is made in America, easy to use(just pull the trigger. I would avoid automatic pistols and consider a coach gun for behind the receptionists desk at entrances of potential target locations.
