I have thought a lot about this, over the years.
How could we, the working class of America, change the future of corporate America, and the government without a coup, or much more effort than say going shopping.
Here are some of the things I have considered....
CEO's (the whole C Class of Employees, as well as the Corporate VP'S and Directors) depened heavily on Stock price for their income. You want to see a company change, stop buying from them, and let that be known to the Market. The stock will drop and that CEO will come running for your business.
Local Store Managers depends heavily on total daily sales for their bonuses and increases. Boycott the store, even if it is a big box store, the Manager depends on you to make his numbers. Boycott him, and tell him why.
Even WalMart will listen if you stay out of the store and purchase elsewhere.
This community DKOS is big enough to start those kinds of protests and make some changes. We do ti with our vote, why not with our dollars? I know times are tough, and the choices really are Walmart or Target, or have not enough. But we could shift it, take out Walmart first, get them in line, then work on Target, or visa-versa.
but it has to be organized, and it has to be public, we can not do this in silence, or nothing will change.
Wouldn't it be something if the American Public went on strike together. If we could just stop listening to the propaganda offered by each side, and stood up to the Government and Corporate America. too much to ask, we can't get past reproductive emotional issues long enough to stand together for the greater good.
