Have you got a treat in store for you! Well, you do if you are the winning bidder for Grandma Simer's Perfect Fudge in the annual Netroots Nation Holiday Bazaar.
I can personally attest to the perfection of that fudge, because it's my Great-Grandma Simer's recipe that we're talking about, and it's the treat I most look forward to every holiday (though, in case you're reading Mom, the toffee is pretty damned good, too). There's no fudge shortcuts here, not for mcmom. No marshmallow fluff or sweetened condensed milk or other adulterating fillers. Just pure fudgey goodness.
Of course, if fudge isn't your thing (unthinkable as that may be) there's plenty more tasty treats to be had, either for your own indulgence or as a thoughtful gift for a very good friend.
Or if you or your loved ones are more into shiny than sweet, we've got you covered. You and your little cat, too.
If none of that floats your boat, how about a holiday photo portrait session? Or an
autographed copy of Pitchforks and Torches by Keith Olbermann? Maybe a one-on-one, online, interactive chess lesson?
The unique, unusual, and edifying--it's all there for the bidding!
And it's all for a good cause, Netroots Nation's sister organization, the Netroots Arts and Education Initiative (NAEI). NAEI is a 501(c)(3) organization so all donations are tax deductible. But don't wait too long. The bazaar ends on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
