There seems to be a bit of confusion here at Daily Kos about what is "acceptable" when it comes to supporting President Barack Hussein Obama.
Let me clear a few things up for posterity's sake.
There is nobody, no matter how well respected or knowledgeable, who has the right to tell me how to support MY President.
I do not need permission to enjoy photographs of MY President.
I do not need approval to celebrate MY President's accomplishments.
I don't need to justify my support of MY President.
Those who are threatened or "creeped out" by people standing behind the President of the United States of America would need to remember that they are not in charge.
And that, fundamentally is the problem.
The "professional left" believes that they and only they "know what is best" for everyone.
They would be wrong.
President Obama put in the work and has paid his dues to be where he is today.
This is HIS first term as President and he is going to do things the way HE thinks is best.
So I would suggest all of the high-strung, all-knowing, professional bullies and belittlers remember one simple fact:
You are not in charge. You are not in the majority. You are not fooling anyone with all your hateful talk and high-minded rhetoric.
Sad to say, you are mostly the unmanageable rump of an undisciplined movement to bloviate America into doing your bidding.
It ain't working.
And I am going to be here to tell you that as many times as it takes.
President Obama IS one hell of a great President. There is not a man or woman alive today who could have done any better than he has with the cards he was dealt.
Most of the BS that passes for analysis here is little more than fairy tale scenarios that the authors have NO WAY OF GETTING THROUGH THE CONGRESS.
Get behind the Democratic President of the United States or get out of the way. We don't have the luxury of stroking your collective egos and paranoia on one hand and fighting Republican foolishness with the other.
That is why many are beginning to just block your foolishness out . . . like the Boy Who Cried Wolf or Chicken Little.
Witnessing the irrational hatred and just plain mean spirited group think here at Daily Kos is what is creepy.
What a fickle, spineless mess.
