I have read all the reviews seen, and notice an omission. In no review I have seen has anyone mentioned the Bush Doctrine of "Preventive War." I can only assume that Bush omitted it from his biography.
For those with short memories: President Bush declared in an introduction to the "National Security Strategy of the United States," published in September 2002, that the United States will act against "...emerging threats before they are fully formed." This was called "Preventive War" or "Preemptive War." http://www.informationclearinghouse....
Daddy Bush had decimated Saddam's military ten years earlier, Iraq was not a threat to the USA. None of the 9/11 terrorists were from Iraq. "Preventive War" against Iraq was unjustified on March 19, 2003.
"Preventive War" was what Japan did to the USA at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. It was a crime against humanity then, and it still is today.
