UPDATE - 2:00 PM EST: Check out RI4A's great video roundup. One DREAM leader, Gaby Pacheco (who walked 1,500 miles for the DREAM Act last spring), reinforces United We DREAM's recent "Call to Conscience" to Members of Congress to pass the DREAM Act.
Just hours before the vote, she states, "We hope that Congress stands on the right side of history:"
UPDATE - 1:15 PM EST: Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND), who hadn't come out publicly for DREAM, is now a yes vote, according to DREAM backers on the Hill today. Advocates are calling to thank his office: 202-224-2551.
DNC chairman Tim Kaine has an op-ed entitled, "An American Dream" in today's Politico:
