An article in the WSJ online announced that the Fed has posted a list of the banks that took the 2 trillion in loans from the benevolent Bernanke and company.
"This $2 trillion … does not belong to the Fed. It belongs to the American people, and the American people have a right to know where trillions of dollars of their taxpayer dollars are going," Sen. Sanders said in a May speech on the Senate floor. "Who got what? When did they get it? On what basis, on what terms? Who was at the meetings? Who made the decisions, and were there conflicts of interest—simple factual questions that the American people deserve answers to."
Bernie has been a consistent vocal critic of the central bank. Their policies frequently hurt the working American and Bernie finally forced a little light on their actions. In addition to sponsoring this legislation, I have has the pleasure of seeing Bernie dress down "Bubbles" Greenspan and Bernanke.
How very refreshing to see someone in government represent people like me and have my back in this class war. Good on ya Bernie...looks like I will be voting for you yet again.
