This isn't a political diary, but it certainly applies to people that log a lot of hours in ass-meets-chair-leather-mode.
I've had some problems with pain in the hips, buttocks, and thighs, including a tingling that goes down to the toes once in a while. Actually, it's only been on the left leg.
This was particularly a problem when I was on long drives, and especially when I sit on the couch. There are no back or disk problems involved, so I don't think this is "sciatica" involving the lumar vertebrae.
Lately I've gotten some relief from making a firm pad I made from a tightly folded piece of canvas, and this firmness had made my office chair bearable anyway. Before that, there was a couple days I had to stand up all day at work. I think soft ergonomic seats are bad.
I know that lots of people deal with nerve pains that are poorly characterized medically. Does anyone else have a similar problem, and have they found products or exercises that help?
