There is a recommended diary up top that talks about basically the linguistics of politics, and how the Repubs frame their language better.
Perhaps in thinking of that, we should both use the right linguistics and put these people where they belong.
Thus, the surrender movement.
The wealthy can have their tax cuts. But then, they have to surrender all government supplied benefits. All of them.
No wealthy Social Security. No wealthy medicare. No wealthy mortgage interest deductions. No wealthy trough eating (i.e., if a corporation takes huge tax breaks, they receive no federal disbursements.)
The wealthy will get: defense from the military, the ability to visit national parks, some museums, other "societal benefits" that come from taxes. Of course, their tax dollars are paying for that.
But any check, any check, that goes to the wealthy is gone.
Then, they have their tax cuts, and they are paying for it. Literally.
Make them surrender! They want America to be the country of small government -- let them have it!
They pay less, they get less. Sounds fair to me.
