I'm in need of some holiday cheer. And since I am like the majority of Americans I have no way of going out for a night on the town or other "frivolities."
What I'm proposing is a Solstice party at my place. I can make bread, pasta, and sauce without ruining my food budget. I'm off the blue line by about a mile from the last stop, but there are two buses nearly to my door from the Gresham Station. One before the last stop.
I really don't know how well this will fly being it is the 21st and a work day for those lucky enough to have work. But if anything it will be a hot meal if you have train fare. I'm hoping having company will bring all of our spirits up and we can celebrate, commiserate and plan how to have more and better Democrats as we move into the next year.
I'm vegan but my daughter isn't so if you want to bring an appetizer or other food item that isn't vegan feel free to do so. Also if you want wine with dinner it will have to be BYOB. I have plates, flatware, and glassware. Most importantly bring yourself.
My email is in my profile. Winter solstice is a time to enjoy each others company.
