"The Bush Foundation has offered $25,000 in matching funds for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe to support weather-related recovery efforts."
Together we need to to help Navajo, exmearden, TiaRachel, and of course Keith Olbermann along with all the others get this word out and keep it out there.
KO is visibly upset over this tragic failure on behalf of the Senate Commiitee on Indian Affairs. As "ridemyback" noted in the comments below, he [as we] is astonished that something like this can happen "...IN AMERICA!".

SAAC to Host Shoe Drive at Utah Valley Doubleheader
"The University of South Dakota Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will host a “Share Your Sole” shoe drive during the Coyote basketball doubleheader against Utah Valley on Feb. 18. SAAC will donate to the Cheyenne River Youth Project which benefits the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation."

that a school had to ask for shoe donations. He said later that he had received lots of responses to his WP's last night: people had no idea. Keith said--and this is happening to thousands of people close to Minneapolis--here in the US.
