So driving to work this morning I was flipping through radio channels, and stopped when I heard a clip of Tim Russert asking Kerry about his Skull and Bones involvement. This was followed by a clip of Tim Russert asking Bush about his Skull and Bones involvement. (Both of their answers were the same, along the lines of, well I can't talk about that, it's secret). I was wondering what this was all about until the program announcer came back on railing,
"We all know what the image of a skull and bones signifies. A SKULL and BONES is the universal symbol for POISON. A SKULL and BONES is the universal symbol for PIRATES. These are NOT CHRISTIAN images.
"President Bush is NOT a Christian [he continued]. If President Bush wants to be a Christian, I have some advice for him: EXODUS 20. The TEN COMMANDMENTS. When they worship Elokia [sp?] the GODDESS of SKULL AND BONES [?], they are breaking number ONE. Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me. When they put up pictures of SKULL and BONES, they are breaking number TWO. Thou Shalt Worship No Graven Images. When they go around stealing stuff with the number 322 on it for their SKULL and BONES, they are breaking number FOUR. Thou Shalt Not Steal!!
"If you DON'T want to vote for a CHRISTIAN, VOTE FOR BUSH. If you DON'T want to vote for a CHRISTIAN, VOTE FOR KERRY. If you DON'T want to vote for a CHRISTIAN, VOTE FOR NADER, because his attorney was in SKULL AND BONES too."
With this, the announcer paused and you could hear him take one of those big, wet gasps for air, like you do after running for a while.
After a short, awkward silence:
Female Announcer: You know who else went to Yale?
1st Announcer: Who?
Female Announcer: John Ashcroft.
(beat)
1st Announcer: WELL, ISN'T THAT SPECIAL!!!
So, BUSH is NOT a CHRISTIAN. Rather, a pirate. Let's spread it like margarine. This is obviously a bunch of far right bananas, but hey, has that ever not had traction in this country?
