I was very impressed by
"911 In Plane Site" being that it was very professional looking for a low budget documentary. I had never heard of it, nor the makers until it was given to me by a friend who said he liked it. Much of the information in the movie has been mentioned elsewhere. But they give credit to the people who initially made the theories etc.
The film starts off with examination of the 9/11 attack on The Pentagon. With detailed overviews of the concept that a 150 ton Boeing 757 could not have caused the damage. The size of the damage was too small and there were no pieces of the plane to be seen anywhere. Along with a lot of other information I will not get into.
Then the film goes into the planes hitting both WTC towers. They show very convincing frame by frame analysis of the footage of the second plane with the idea that it is not a commercial airliner. Instead they show various news clips from live 9/11 coverage. Many channels including Fox, where their own reporters and witnesses claim it was a plane similar to large Air force transports. The frame by frame analysis shows a mysterious 'pod' on the bottom of the second plane which is very similar to the kind on the bottom of Air force radar planes. Being that many planes like that are just parked out in the Nevada desert it is not too far of a stretch that two could be "misplaced".
There is also analysis of the only known footage of the first plane hitting the WTC towers, which seems to reaffirm the analysis of the second plane 'pod' theory.
Perhaps the most amazing thing to me was interviews with NYC fire fighters who were in the towers when they were about to fall. They insist they heard a chain of explosions prior to the towers collapsing. Such as you might hear with controlled demolition charges. They even have a piece of an interview with the lease owner for the WTC saying they had to "pull it" in reference to tower 7 which mysteriously collapsed even though it was not struck. "Pulling it" is a term used in building demolition to mean bringing the building down with controlled explosive charges. Which takes day or even weeks of planning to setup and calculate. So how could they do it in less than 8 hours?
The only thing they did not cover which I wish they had was what happened to the people who were suppose to have been on the planes said to have hit the WTC? If it was in fact military planes then where are the other planes/people?
Still this is certainly a film worth watching. Not that you would find it at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video of course. . .
