I have some great news!
The second major poll in a week has confirmed what Burr’s campaign has denied for months: this race is tightening, and that voters don’t want to send Senator Burr back for another six years. The latest poll, from local firm PPP, has us within the margin of error:
The North Carolina Senate race continues to look very competitive, with Richard Burr's approval numbers hitting a record low and Elaine Marshall pulling within 2 points. Burr's at 39% to 37% for Marshall and 7% for Libertarian Michael Beitler.

The race is closer at this point than the Hagan/Dole race was at the same point...

The even more startling number: Senator Burr’s approval has hit a record low with 32% of North Carolinians approving of his “work” in Washington -- only two Senators have lower approvals. The voters have figured out that Burr’s Washington ways aren’t consistent with North Carolina's values.
Burr knows the voters have abandoned him – that’s why he’s already launched a so-called “legacy” tour hoping to rewrite his 16-year career of lies and broken promises in Washington.
But the voters won’t be fooled; they know it’s time for someone new.

This is a trend in our favor, proving our message and hard work are paying off!
Burr’s numbers are down across the board, while our campaign has surged in every major demographic. There are less than 100 days left in this race – and I’m going to need you to keep up with the millions of corporate dollars Burr has raised.
