The year is new and the silly season really has begun if this has made it into the WAPO Michele Bachmann for president. Seriously?!
This is almost as funny as this was SC man busted for having sex with horse. TWICE!!! when you think about it according to the article they charged him with "buggery", and then this is the state that gave us this man Alvin Michael Greene and he also has Presidential aspirations it seems
Potential 2012 presidential campaign
Greene reportedly asked the South Carolina Democratic Party how much the filing fee would be to run for President of the United States, after he lost the 2010 midterm election to Jim DeMint.[49] When asked about a run, Greene confirmed to the Columbia Free Times on November 10 that he was "seriously considering" a presidential campaign, although he was not sure for which party he would run.[50] Greene justified his potential bid by saying "I’m the man. I’m the man. I’m the man. Greene’s the man. I’m the man. I’m the greatest person ever. I was born to be president. I’m the man, I’m the greatest individual ever.”
I am bored tonite so lets have some fun with who should run for President against President Obama in 2012?
Should it be a Sarah Palin/Michelle Bachmann ticket?
How about Alvin Greene/the horse sex addict?
Then there is the many talents at Faux news Sarah Palin/Glenn Beck?
Mike Huckabee and Sean Hannity?
Mike Huckabee and Karl Rove?
Mike Huckabee and Michelle Bachmann?
should Mitt Romney pick a Faux talent to run with and whom should it be, Bill O Reilly? How about the new hire John Roberts? Why not add Roger Aisles to one of the "names" and put him in the White House as the VP since he is trying to manipulate politics from the desk at Faux news. He has never seen a need for truth in the broadcasts of info news he puts on, I can't actually call what they do at Faux as "news" it implies there is truth in it and as we all know they seldom use factual news.
From the WAPO article this is some funny stuff
The Star Tribune reports that Bachmann's staff confirmed an earlier ABC News report that she is considering a 2012 bid. "[N]othing is off the table," said press aide Sergio Gor. Bachmann herself addressed this issue with the Star Tribune. "I'm continuing speaking out on the issues just as I have for the last few years," she told the newspaper. "Part of that will include going to Iowa and some of the caucus states. My commitment level remains the same, and that's to making sure that President Obama doesn't have a second term." Well, she does have extra time on her hands, since the Republican leadership blocked her from becoming House GOP caucus chair.
and then there was this paragraph
The Tea Party princess (Mama Grizzly is the Tea Party queen) must be off her rocker if she thinks she's presidential timber. Has neither she nor her staff watched her wacky appearances on "Hardball with Chris Matthews"? On the other hand, seeing how Palin and Bachmann compete against each other for the attention and affections of the conservative base might change my movie analogy of them from "Thelma and Louise" to "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion."
I know it won't be very long before they start actually campaigning here in the state of South Carolina since they will be one of the first states to have the 2012 Presidential Primaries. I think I have read where they are scheduling a Presidential debate for May 2011 here
