The title of this diary was a response to a comment made to Arizona Senate president Russell Pearce concerning Arizona legislators now openly bringing firearms into the State Capitol.
It is against state law to bring guns into public establishments.

"I will never have a policy that restricts (legislative) members. It's sort of a don't-ask-don't-tell policy now."
When you have state legislators openly and proudly flaunting gun laws I think it's time to have some kind of federal intervention.
When lawmakers show open contempt of laws that important, and are proud of it, we are coming to the point of all but inviting anarchy.
How can law enforcement be taken seriously in light of comments like that?
I think Arizona is on the brink of becoming a rogue state if something isn't done soon.
