DK3 is scheduled to disappear this weekend, but there's a big secret you don't know about. The DK4 beta is scheduled to disappear, too! And when that happens, everything that was on DK4 will be gone. Erased. Never again to be seen on this earth.

For those of us who've spent a great deal of time there, this is both a happy and sad occasion. But who cares about that!

We're holding a pie fight, and you're invited!

Details below the fold.

Where: DK4

When: Thursday, Feb 9, 2011. 12AM to midnight.

Who: DK4 TUs only!

How: The only way for you to be a TU on DK4 is if you get mojo on DK4. The only way you get mojo on DK4 is by participating on DK4. So if you want to participate by Thursday, you better be there the next couple days building up your mojo. It's Monday night. Do you know where your mojo is?

Rules: HR all comments. You have 5 HRs, as normal. Recycle HRs when you run out. Anti-anti-mojo diaries may be used as safe zones to recoup mojo. Other than that, anything goes.

Motto: What happens on DK4, stays on DK4.

Additional Information:

  1. Nothing you do on DK4 affects your DK3 account. Even if you get banned on DK4, your account on DK3 will be fine.
  1. Your DK4 password is what you used back in May 2010.
  1. If you didn't have a Daily Kos account by May of 2010, you will need to create an account for DK4 since your information is not in the DK4 database. You've got a lot of catching up to do if you want to be able to participate, so better get those accounts created pronto!
  1. If you are participating, you must recommend this diary.

Any questions?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
