So this whole changing over to DK4 thing is going to be happening.
I'm slightly nervous about this, but I will duly make the transition as there is no real choice and I deleted my shortcut to HuffPo, AOL was just the last straw on a back already overloaded with the cheesy tabloid hell it has become.
In the meantime, let's head over to Baked Potato Island and catch up.
A couple of days back here at home, a tonne of sleep and meds back on track - things seem to be looking up. My sleep patterns have been kind of crap - I'm a night person by nature though, always have been.
Today has been errands and some time working on the boat since it's dry - things are slowly but surely headed in the right direction. I missed the mail this week so that is on Monday's agenda, mostly today has just been basic housekeeping.
On the plus side, I did go into the office today and the guy who fell in is out of the hospital and actually planning to come back to his boat! I hope he also decides to take some swimming lessons at the local pool, but I am very happy he is out and about and not going to let a "little dip" keep him from sailing.
As a result of his accident the marina is testing water ladders that will be placed on every dock - they had a wetsuited employee test the first one and are working out how many per dock they will need - but they are coming.
I'm working on a longer diary for the changeover - it will not be part of the View From the Shore "series" though it is related to my location - it's going to be about $cientology and LRH - and his first "command", which happens to have been based from my town. I discovered this working on research for my NaNo which is based on the WWII activities on the Oregon coast.
So yeah. Last diary here, working on a new one for there. And $cientology sucks. Not the people who got sucked into it, but the system.
Cheers!
