Welcome to What Are You Working On at Dkos 4.0!
If you are seeing this, then you know we're up ;-)
What Are You Working On is a community diary series for all things crafty, in a variety of mediums and techniques.
You may volunteer to guest host by signing up at this yahoo group, which I check from time to time. Also by joining this group, you will receive one email a week when the diary is posted.
Notes: re: Testing: I did not publish one single diary in beta. I'm not sure I made a comment. So this is a whole new ballgame for me. And if I can pull this off, you can pull this off.
re: Spontaneous: I was. More to come . . .
Somewhere between a bevy of after-school activities, with Science Fair due, and Valentine's Day coming up, I was at Michael's with the kids.
(note to self: Add button for links moved)
Lo and behold, I wandered past the yarn (which is hard to do because it is in a back corner). Nonetheless, I reached out and touched a new-to-me yarn. And it felt good. And it had a cute picture on the label.
And it may even have been on sale.
Home came the yarn. Off came the label. Read were the instructions on the back of the label. Out came the needles, and I cast on the stitches ;-)
It's a hat knit flat. With cables.
The children made their own valentines ;-)
And we are experimenting with making candy hearts. And ducks.
