When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation
To our "representatives" at all levels of our current governments, I add this continued reminder of the document that started this nation's projection to self-government and the republic that is under attack today:
and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
The recent history of the present Lords of Finance and Corporate Heads of State in cohesion with our "elected" government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations:
They brought this country and many other parts of the globe to its knees with reckless financial speculation.
They have grasped the people's money through endless war contracts.
They have written the laws of the market place to ensure the deck is stacked in their favor.
They pushed for TARP in addition to trillions of dollars of no-interest loans already received by the federal reserve to fill the vacuum the real estate bubble-burst left in its wake.
They have lobbied against any meaningful government financial regulation. Their cohorts in all levels of government legislative bodies have obliged.
They insisted on a costly tax break that would continue to benefit the top 2%.
They hoard their corporate profits as they stockpile revenue and continue to sell and manufacture more abroad.
They inflict a war on the remaining citizens of this country through draconian drug laws and weakening of civil liberties throughout the land.
They spread their abuses past our borders in pursuit of resource and human exploitation.
They push their assault on the citizens rights to unionization and collective bargaining.
They demand sacrifices from the American body through cuts to basic needs and government services when they have sacrificed nothing. And in doing so, threaten the fragile vestiges of an economic recovery through more job loss and human suffering.
They threaten our future viability as a strong independent nation as they coddle their subsidized oil partners in these crimes through killing funding to renewable energy and a clean sustainable future.
They have allowed pollution of our seas, ravaging of our coasts; and impaired the lives of our people.
They have contradicted the very core principals this nation stood upon as we fought against countless tyrannies throughout the last century by now continuing a sustained tyranny enacted by our nation, with circumstances of cruelty and "perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages".
They have constrained our fellow citizens to take up arms against a nation that had never attacked us on our soil and to deploy countless number of times to inflict great personal harm and trauma on our own soldiers and other world citizens.
They have excited domestic divisions amongst us.
In one great act this nation sought to change these offenses and counter these assaults on our liberty and pursuit of happiness; our great leap of faith having been answered only by repeated injury. A body, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define tyranny, is unfit to be rulers of a free people.

People of the United States, are we going to grasp this opportunity begun in a far away part of the world and continued by our courageous fellow citizens of Wisconsin by marching in unison on the capitols of our cities, states and nation this week or are we going to continue to sit and observe while our new Lords greedily suck up more money and power to our and children and our children's children detriment?
The time is now. It is Washington's birthday Monday - a perfect day to coordinate a march in solidarity for our rights. Pick a day this week. Shall we march in solidarity on 2-22-11 on our respective city halls, state capitols or the steps of Wall Street and Congress for those that are in the position to so?
We all have friends we can connect with across the country to march in unison with our brothers and sisters in Wisconsin and across other Midwestern cities as they fight for their rights for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as supposedly guaranteed by our Constitution. Let's form a chain between the activists to the north and the rest of the country. We need to renew our collective voice as citizens of this country in peaceful but massive protest.
Everybody stand up.
