For reasons that are irrelevant here, I'm way more interested in the revolution in Libya than I am in other places. I've been hooked into al-Jazeera streaming through my PS3 for days. I'm coming to really enjoy the channel, including their editorial point of view.
Except on one thing: they are essentially lambasting the Obama administration for failing to send in the Marines to Libya.
And as much as I agree, it seems like maybe the United States (in light of Iraq...) should maybe tread more lightly in situations like this, no? Their angle seems to be, "Hey, United States, you were so ready to take down Saddam and rattle sabers at Iran," but now you're being a big puss on Libya.
It's like the two wrong make a right theory of foreign relations?
Am I missing something?
Help, please. (=
