So, former PA Senator Rick Santorum had these words gurgle out of his mouth:
“The idea that the Crusades and the fight of Christendom against Islam is somehow an aggression on our part is absolutely anti-historical,” Santorum said in Spartanburg on Tuesday. “And that is what the perception is by the American left who hates Christendom.”
...I can't believe we still have people like this in the world.
Just to set the record straight for Rick and any other blind worshippers of the vengeful buffoon, FOX; let's take the 25 seconds to destroy any validity to this ridiculous statement:
“The idea that the Crusades and the fight of Christendom against Islam is somehow an aggression on our part is absolutely anti-historical,” Santorum said in Spartanburg on Tuesday. “And that is what the perception is by the American left who hates Christendom.”
"...an aggression on our part..." - Whose part, Rick? Are you aligning yourself with the Christian crusades of the middle ages? If so, could you note 3 defining moments of these religious military campaigns? No, you can't.
And if you are actually inferring that we look to the Crusades as rationale for our current foreign policy, I've got a time machine that you can jump into so you can be on the front lines.
Send me a video clip.
"...absolutely anti-historical..." - Wow. What does that phrase even mean? Clearly you are an individual that our nation should listen to; that's like saying something is "anti-mathematical."
You may no longer sit at the grown-up table until you learn how to use your words and also bring something called 'evidence' to support your bombastic claims. Sometimes, when you say an opinion...backing it up with facts will help you and make you less anti-intelligible.
Also, if you mean "anti-historical" to mean "a lie" then you're just being anti-truthful.
“And that is what the perception is by the American left who hates Christendom.”
- People on the left don't hate Christianity. We hate very few people, and that is why people on the extreme right often hate us, remember?
But when it comes down to it, Santorum, we do hate people like you; those who spend their time maniacally shouting boisterously misleading claims in a pathetic desire to maintain a level of prominence in the national media. We hate people who misrepresent the tenets of Christianity and tout them as reasons to marginalize rather than accept, and punish rather than forgive. We hate those who are hell-bent on repeating the bloody mistakes of the past.
Well, it's either that, or you really believe what you're saying...in which case, you're simply an intellectual lightweight who feels he has no recourse other than to simply spend the rest of his life spreading the seeds of evil.
