Today 2500 were on the Olympia Capitol Grounds for a Solidarity rally in support of Wisconsin.
The feisty creative spirit of Washingtonians was on magnificent display.
It was a peaceful but vigorous protest that then marched into the Capitol Rotunda while the legislature was in session. I'm sure that the mighty roar of this passionate crowd made an impression on both chambers.
Here are a few of my favorite moments.
A cold clear snowy day with began with a rally at the fountain.

Update
and if you want to believe CNN.Com's report on the day..Wisconsin battle reaches all 50 states
In Olympia, Washington, two raucous competing rallies over the union fight in Wisconsin drew more than 2,000 people, according to CNN Seattle affiliate KIRO.
More than a half dozen union members decried the bill, while a smaller protest of Tea Party members and conservative groups was held on the Washington Capitol steps. Many of those demonstrators filled petitions to "Stand with Walker."
A few teabaggers getting schooled on the fringe of several thousand protesters hardly qualifies as a "competing rally".
