Yes, it's a terrible worry that people who sustain major brain damage and lose two to three years of longevity for every season they play would get five whole years of health coverage if they play three seasons.
Good thing this quote doesn't come in the wake of the suicide of a 50-year-old former football player who feared he had a devastating degenerative brain disease common among former football players.
