TIME magazine was ahead of itself. There is little about Zuckerberg - the man - that really takes him from the ordinary to the extraordinary. And while many other entrants to the social media came and went (AOL’s chat and rooms, which were abandoned for MySpace, which became to schoolyard and people instead graduated to Facebook) and Mark’s novel little idea (depending on who you believe) became the heavyweight networking app, Facebook became perfectly placed program to foment otherwise quiet dissent, and usher in a potential utopia or dystopia to emerge in the now inflamed middle east. Maybe TIME magazine should take the title back from the man, and instead give it to the website.
